Our SECOND EVER fall specialty show is steadily approaching. We will be hosting our fall specialty with the Decatur RBA on 11/21/20 in Perry, GA at the GA National Fairgrounds. See the catalog here.
Judges this year are TBD, however we are pushing for either Ashley Garza or Piper Debruler. I will give an update when we know who will be judging.
For prizes, we will be offering rosettes, as well as candy-jars for class winners. Blacks will be awarded ribbons for 1st through 6th place in each class, plus BOB/BOS/Best in Class/Best Fur. Blues & chocolates CAN be shown under their CODs, however will only be awarded ribbons for 1st place in each class, as well as BOV/BOSV. Best of the best will have their name added to the BotB plaque (ongoing award).
In addition to our fall specialty, the club will be holding one of our 2 bi-yearly membership meetings. Even if you aren’t planning to show, please plan to attend the fall specialty if you are a GSFRB member. We will be voting on a few items for the spring specialty as well as 2021 Silver Fox nationals.
And finally, I’m sure everyone has been waiting, we will be announcing & awarding the 2019-2020 Sweepstakes awards. We will be awarding the following:
1st through 5th place – Most Specialty Points
1st through 3rd place – Most Shows Attended
1st through 3rd place – Most Rabbits Shown (Entered)
And 1st through 3rd place for the Highest Pointed Rabbit in each variety (black, blue, chocolate)
Awards will be presented at the conclusion of our general membership meeting, so please attend! We can help you get a handle on how YOU can be in the running for sweeps awards!
